The Silver Lake Regional School District seeks an instructor for its Driver Education program.  Candidates should have a MA DOT Professional Driving Instructor license.  Alternatively, interested candidates can also reach out to Elliot Glass (eglass@slrsd.org) for information about the instructor training program.

Silver Lake High School runs a Driver Education Program for students after school. We seek a candidate to be an Instructor who will both teach in the classroom and provide road lessons to students. A candidate must be licensed as a MA Driving Instructor. The Silver Lake Driver Education program has two instructors who each have an assigned car.

Road instruction is scheduled with students through the "Schedule-To-Drive" online scheduling program and instructors schedule hours around their own schedule. A typical week is usually 10-15 hours of road lessons in addition to teaching a course in the classroom twice a year.

Instructors are paid at the rate of $40/hr.
