The Silver Lake Regional School District and Superintendency Union 31 is seeking a district-wide float nurse for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Massachusetts.  Experience as a school or public health nurse is preferred.

 

REPORTS TO: Nurse Leader & Building Principals

 

JOB GOAL: To meet students' health needs in the absence of the building school nurse

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITY:

• Administers student health assessment, medication and treatments in accordance with established first aid protocol and procedure
• Administers first aid and emergency aid in accordance with established first aid protocol and procedures
• Assumes all other duties involving health related issues as deemed necessary by the building level administrator and Nurse Leader

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: School year 5 days a week 

EVALUATION: Job performance will be evaluated annually by the Nurse Leader
