Silver Lake Regional High school is in search of a head coach to lead training and management of the high school Unified Track & Field program.

Qualifications:

• Experience coaching Unified athletics; experience working with a wide range of students, including those with intellectual disabilities
• Previous high school coaching and teaching experience is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Teach the skills and strategies of track and field to student-athletes in grades 9-12.
• Be a role-model and teacher of track and field, including practice, game day coaching, conditioning of athletes, supervision of athletes, maintenance of practice facility and equipment.
• Determine awards for students and provide the athletic department with a list of team needs. Communicate regularly with families as needed.

Salary is $1400 for the season
